Food Promise

 It is not possible for UK farmers, either on a local or collective basis, to meet the total demand from caterers for year round produce.  Consequently it is necessary to import a proportion of our food. 

Where ever possible food is locally sourced with thought to food miles. 

For fruit and vegetables we incorporate in-season. 

We use a fish supplier that is committed to responsible sourcing from well managed and sustainable fisheries. Our supplier does not supply any species on the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources Red List of Endangered Species.

It was the first company within food service to offer Marine Stewardship Council approved products

Our chicken is Freedom Food Accredited and all our eggs are free range.

Our coffee, tea and sugar are Fairtrade.

Our coffee is also RainForest Alliance and Soil Association Certified.
