London 2012's opening ceremony has been dubbed "Isles of Wonder" by the ceremony's artistic director, Danny Boyle.

The opening ceremony will take place on 27th July 2012, with the Olympic Torch passing by One Queen Anne's Gate the day before, on July 26th.

Around one billion viewers are expected to tune into the opening ceremony, which will have a 15,000 strong cast, including school children from host boroughs.
