Tap into WaterAid FAQs

Q: What is Tap into WaterAid?

Tap into WaterAid is an easy and sustainable way for One Queen Anne’s Gate to support WaterAid by simply suggesting client/customers make a small donation of 50p for every bottle of chilled tap water they consume during an event. This suggested donation is added to the client/customers event invoice and all donations made are passed on to WaterAid to help fund life-saving water, sanitation and hygiene education projects in the developing world.

Q. Why is Tap into WaterAid important?

Access to safe water and sanitation are basic human rights and with 5,000 children dying every day from water-related diseases, WaterAid’s water, sanitation and hygiene education projects are a lifeline for many communities in Africa, Asia and the Pacific region.

Tap into WaterAid is a way for One Queen Anne’s Gate and clients to come together and help some of the world’s poorest people take their first steps out of poverty. Once added together, even the smallest donations from Tap into WaterAid make a real difference.

Q: How will the money that is raised from Tap into WaterAid be used?

Donations through Tap into WaterAid will help WaterAid to continue overcoming poverty by enabling some of the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. It will help WaterAid to sustain and develop their work with local partners and provide them with the skills and support needed to help communities set up and manage practical and sustainable projects. It will also help us to campaign locally and internationally to change policy and practice and to ensure water and sanitation’s vital role in reducing poverty is recognised.
